ATHLETICS CARNIVAL

Students thoroughly enjoy the day of the Athletics Carnival. Their comradery and teamwork shows, dressing in their house colours to cheer and support each other.

ZONE ATHLETICS

On Friday 2 August 2024, Chatham Public School students competed at the Zone Athletics Carnival in Tuncurry. 

They competed in a range of track and field events including running races, shot putt and long jump. 

All students tried their very best, with many students performing personal bests.

Congratulations to Quantaye 5/6M (pictured below) who will progress to the Hunter Carnival in four events.

ZONE - HUNTER - STATE

Congratulations to Quantayte from 5/6M (pictured here) for his outstanding performance at the PSSA Zone, Hunter and State Athletics this year. 

At the Hunter lever, he secured first place in the 200m race and achieved second place in the 800m, which qualified him for the PSSA State Athletics event. 

Quantaye then travelled to Sydney Olympic Park for the state event and was placed 11th and 7th in the 200m and 800m events respectively.
