Students enjoyed some beautiful weather for their annual Athletics Carnival on Thursday 22 June.
Students dressed in their sporting house colours to run in their age races, have fun in the novelty events and cheer on their fellow students.
Students in Years K-2 were all smiles at their events which included the egg and spoon race, balloon race, sack race and the parachute game.
On Friday 27 July, sixteen students competed at the Zone Athletics Carnival in Tuncurry.
All students tried their very best, with many students performing personal bests.
Pictured left is Quantaye from class 5/6S, who was placed first in the 100m, 200m and the 800m at the PSSA Zone level of Athletics.
He then travelled to Glendale on Friday 1 September to compete at the PSSA Hunter Athletics carnvial where once again he placed first in the 100m, 200m and 800m events and also added firsts in the long jump and discus.
The next step was State! .......... on the big stage! ....... at Sydney Olympic Park! Although Quantaye had competed here before, it was still a very big occasion. He competed so strongly, finishing mid-field in his events. A fantastic achievement.
