Supporting Your Child at School

Chatham Public School works with external therapy providers to support the wellbeing, learning and development of our students.

If you would like your child to receive therapy at school, getting started is simple. The parent or therapist can contact the school informally by phone or email to let us know that they would like therapy to take place at school.

To get the process underway, we will need:

Once we have this basic information, the school can create an engagement in SchoolTherapy. The platform then takes care of the formal approval and documentation process, including sending the official parent request for signing and collecting required documentation such as insurance and Working with Children Check details.

When Is Therapy Available?

At Chatham Public School, external provider support is not available during Term 1.

External therapy appointments are available during Terms 2, 3 and 4, between 2:00 pm and 3.00 pm, subject to school approval and availability.
